Interbay Veterinary Care Center Services

Interbay Veterinary Care Center is a full service animal hospital. We have a modern facility that is staffed with an exceptional and devoted veterinary medical team. Our staff members are highly skilled, compassionate, and have many years of experience in treating animals of all shapes and size.

EARLY WEEKDAY & WEEKEND HOURS – We understand your time is important and getting time off to bring your pet to see their veterinarian can be difficult. We offer early morning drop off Monday through Friday and abbreviated hours on Saturday.

WELLNESS EXAMS - We offer, an hour long wellness appointment for new patients, in order to thoroughly examine your pet and allow the time to discuss your pets health. Our standard office visits are scheduled for 30 minutes.

GERIATRIC PET CARE - Aging pets have special problems, such as dental disease, arthritis, behavioral changes, and other age-related illnesses. They are especially susceptible to parasitism, infection, and cancer. We can address and treat a variety of illnesses as well as offer suggestions on how to prevent problems before they begin.

HOSPITALIZATION - We provide hospitalization for sick patients and for patients needing surgical and medical treatment. Our treatment area houses patients needing special care, including I.V. fluid therapy, medication, and surgical recovery. Oxygenated, heated, and sanitized kennels are available for hospitalized patients.

SURGERY – We utilize the latest surgical techniques and instruments, we perform a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries. We also offer many advanced orthopedic surgeries performed by a board certified surgeon. Heated and oxygenated kennels are utilized for our smaller patients who tend to lose heat during anesthesia

FULL PHARMACY - We stock an inventory of medications, including antibiotics, flea preventives, and heartworm/worm preventives, so that we can conveniently dispense prescriptions for your pet before you leave the hospital. We also offer rapid prescription refills and medication reminders. In addition, we maintain a large supply of emergency medications so that we are prepared in the unfortunate event that your pet should need emergency care

ANESTHETIC MONITORING - We monitor Blood Pulse Oximetry, Respiration, Blood Pressure, ECG, Body Temperature,Blood Flow and utilize our talented Licensed Veterinary Technicians for surgical monitoring, to ensure that all procedures are ASAP (As Safe As Possible)

DENTAL CARE - 80% of all pets over the age of two have some form of periodontal disease! We are especially equipped to x-ray, ultasonically clean, polish, treat, and repair your pet's teeth and gums to optimize your pet's oral health

BOARDING is reserved for our clients for whom we are the primary health care provider.

Our canine companions are walked, individually, around the neighborhood three times a day ~ at no additional cost. Our feline companions are offered hide-ee houses for lounging, or for taking those much needed private catnaps.

Food and water intake, urination, and bowel movements, are monitored and recorded three times daily. Each pets weight is recorded daily. Any abnormality is immediately brought to the attention of one of our doctors.

To ensure that our boarders are not exposed to germs and infectious disease agents, our kennels, towels, bowls, litter boxes, and blankets are washed everyday. Most importantly, we provide a safe, quiet, and caring environment for when you have to leave your four-legged family members behind.
